Tradewind are recruiting on behalf of a lovely two form entry Trafford school graded 'Good' with outstanding features by OFSTED. The senior leadership team are looking to appoint a fun and friendly Year 5 teacher to work 4 days a week. The Maternity cover role will involve planning, delivering and assessing a broad and balanced curriculum alongside the other Year 5 class teacher. The school are looking for someone to start in January 2021 and will be required for the remainder of the academic year and potentially longer.

As one of the Year 5 teachers you will be establishing a safe learning environment for your pupils, founded on mutual respect. You will also be responsible for:
*Assessing, tracking, and reporting on the pupil's attainment and personal development
*Establishing positive and supportive relationships with parents and carers
*Encouraging pupils to express their opinions, thoughts and feelings
*Set high expectations for pupil behaviour.
*Provide a caring and supportive learning environment based on mutual respect.

We are looking for applicants who have:
*Qualified Teacher Status
*Excellent organisational skills
*A commitment to child development and learning
*Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*The right to work in the U.K
