Are you an experienced, professional teacher looking to work part time as a year 6 teacher? Do you want to work for a strong Headteacher in a school who have consistently been rated as good by Ofsted.

This 2-form entry primary school in the Walworth area of Southwark are currently looking for a Part time year 6 teacher to join the team in January. The position is to work every Friday on a long term basis and is paying an annual salary of up to £41,483.

This Roman Catholic community school is situated in the heart of South East London and has a Good Ofsted rating. Their vision is for excellence in learning, in terms of both achievement and progress. The school provides a broad, balanced and challenging curriculum to enable each pupil to develop all those attributes and skills for lifelong learning. The school grounds are small but well thought out, including a newly transformed edible garden. The school also endeavour to achieve maximum inclusion of all children (including vulnerable learners) whilst meeting their individual needs. The school has a strong catholic ethos, the care shown to the children is outstanding and there is consistently high standards of education which is delivered by dedicated and hardworking teachers. All under the excellent leadership of the Headteacher.

The school is in a prime location in the Walworth area of South East London. It's easily accessible with nearby stations for tube and train within walking distance.

The Headteacher is keen to recruit a Part time year 6 teacher to join the team in January 2020.

The Part time year 6 teacher must:
*Have full QTS (or equivalent teaching qualifications)
*Be experienced teaching children in year 6
*Have good knowledge and understanding of the UK curriculum
*Be able to engage well with colleagues, children and their parents
*Be smart and well presented
*Have a positive work ethic and offer support to others
*Be available every Friday until July 2020
