Are you looking for a Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher role at a 'Good with Outstanding' primary school in central London?

A two form entry primary school in the Westminster area of North West central London are seeking a full-time KS2 teacher to start in January 2020. The role is a class teaching position with responsibility for teaching a Year 5 class, and with competitive salary available in line with experience (MPS 1-6 Inner London - £30,480-£41,483).

This Ofsted graded 'Good' with 'Outstanding' school situated in the Queen's Park / Kensal Rise area are looking to appoint an outstanding and inspirational teacher to join their team in January 2020. A vibrant, welcoming school with an incredibly strong sense of community, the school provides a safe, nurturing environment for their children, which is supported by their dedicated parents and teachers.

The headteacher is looking for an outstanding, dynamic and motivated practitioner with a passion for teaching and learning; ideally an experienced teacher, however the school are open to receiving applications from outstanding NQTs, or overseas trained teachers with full class teaching experience.

The last couple of years in school have been transformational and we are now judged by Ofsted as 'Good' with 'Outstanding' features. In their most recent inspection, inspectors were impressed with every aspect of our school - the way they teach, their extracurricular programme, the behaviour and attendance of pupils and the focus they place on making sure every single pupil achieves well.

The responsibilities for this KS2 Class Teacher role will include:
*To ensure the full implementation of agreed policies together with the required National Curriculum Schemes of Work.
*To plan programmes of work at appropriate levels to match the abilities of the children.
*To ensure that the ethos reflects the agreed aims, principles of learning and our policy on equal opportunities and thereby promote the general progress and well-being of each child.
*To maintain good order and discipline among the pupils and safeguard their health & safety both on school premises and on authorised school activities elsewhere.
The ideal candidate for this KS2 Primary Teacher role will:
*Be an outstanding and creative classroom practitioner with high expectations for pupil achievement.
*Be highly organised, hardworking and professional role model
*Be someone who has a positive attitude and is prepared to take the initiative
*Have an up to date knowledge of Assessment for Learning
*Possess excellent planning and assessment skills

The school is a short walk from Queen's Park and Kensal Rise stations on the Bakerloo line, and also reachable via Overground and Hammersmith and City lines, making it very accessible from all directions via public transport.
