An opportunity has presented to work as a Year 2 teacher in a mixed-ability class for a fantastic two-form entry school in Tameside. This full-time class teacher role begins September 2020 and will run for two terms ending in April 2021. This is a very large school so there is potential of a permanent opportunity available depending upon your success in the role.
The school has most recently been graded 'Good' by OFSTED and their success has been largely due to a strong leadership team who have a shared school vision in which to maximise educational potential within a rich, diverse, curriculum that is exciting, engaging and inspiring.
As the Year 2 teacher, your responsibilities will be but not limited to:
*Undertake full class teaching responsibilities for a Year 2 class and comply with behaviour management and safeguarding policies.
*Complete detailed plans that align with the curriculum content but allow for creativity within the classroom.
*Deliver engaging lessons that implement a range of innovative approaches including ICT to maximise learning opportunities.
*Review, record and report on pupil performance analysing data to determine both progression and regression addressing ways in which to raise educational attainment
*Contribute to the broad range of extra-curricular activities offered on a rotational basis by the school.

To be successful in this Year 2 teaching role, you will:
*Hold QTS Certification
*Have experience teaching in a KS1 setting (desirable).
*Have an updated DBS and a right to work in the UK
