Tradewind recruitment are looking for a hardworking and inspiring Year 2 teacher to join a two-form entry primary school an in Swinton, Salford as of September 2020 on a full-time contract until the end of the academic year. The head is looking for a class teacher with a calm and caring approach.
The is a lovely oversubscribed, one-form entry school rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted. They have a track record of excellent Year 2 and 6 SATS result. The team strive to provide their children with a safe, welcoming environment allowing their pupils to become happy and confident individuals with a love of learning. The school boasts excellent facilities and resources to support high attainment levels.

As the Year 2 teachers, you will be responsible for maintaining the school's high academic standards through your hard work and commitment to the school whilst ensuring children feel safe and confident to develop a love for learning. You will also be required to:
*Plan and Teaching a balanced and diverse curriculum, preparing pupils for Year 2 SATS
*Assessing, tracking, and reporting on the pupil's development, attainment and personal needs
*Set high expectations for pupil outcomes
*Develop a classroom environment rooted in mutual respect
*Support learning of life skills through the Forest school programme
*Provide a caring and supportive learning environment
*Work with other classes collaboratively including break/ lunch duties.

We are looking for applicants who have:
*Qualified Teacher Status with 2 years' experience in Year 2 or KS1
*Enthusiastic individual with excellent organisational skills
*A commitment to child development and learning
*Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*The right to work in the U.K
