An opportunity has presented to work as a Year 3 teacher in a mixed-ability class for a highly reputable two-form entry school in Stockport. This full-time class teacher role beginning January 2021 and will run until the end of the academic year. This school will welcome applications from NQT's as well as more experienced teachers and with the school being larger than the average size, there is the potential of a permanent opportunity depending upon your success in the role.

As the Year 3 teacher, your responsibilities will be but not limited to:
*Undertake full class teaching responsibilities for a Year 3 class and comply with behaviour management and safeguarding and assessment policies.
*Complete detailed plans that align with the curriculum content but allow for creativity within the classroom.
*Differentiate learning to both scaffold and stretch learners appropriately allowing all pupils to reach their potential
*Review, record and report on pupil performance analysing data to determine both progression and regression to inform future planning
*Plan targeted interventions in literacy and numeracy to bridge gaps in learning and accelerate pupil progress
*Use ICT accordingly to keep up-to-date with modern teaching and learning approaches and liaise with the STEM teacher making use of cross-curricular opportunities to enhance learning
*Contribute to the broad range of extra-curricular activities and attend wider school events

To be successful in this Year 3 teaching role, you will:
*Hold QTS Certification
*Have demonstrated success teaching in a KS2 setting (Year 3 desirable) with references to support your previous experience
*Be subject to an enhanced DBS check and Overseas Police Check (if applicable)
*Have a right to work in the UK
