We are recruiting on behalf of a Salford school who require a Year 3 teacher to cover Maternity leave from January 2020 until the end of the academic year. The role is paid at a competitive rate dependant on your experience. The school has great access to public transport and has on-site parking for staff.
The school are looking to boost their pupil's attainment in Mathematics through the White Rose Maths scheme. Knowledge and experience of this would be desirable but not essential. The school are committed to training their staff and have regular training sessions. Most recently with a focus on White rose Maths.
As a Year 3 teacher you will be supporting the pupils through the transition from KS1 to KS2. The school have a focus on ensuring pupils work is the best possible quality, therefore you must set high expectations for pupil work and presentation. You will also be responsible for:
*Assessing, tracking, and reporting on the pupil's attainment and personal development
*Establishing positive relationships with parents and carers
*Set high expectations for pupil behaviour.
*Promote children's inquisitive nature
*Provide a caring and supportive learning environment based on mutual respect.

We are looking for applicants who have:
*Qualified Teacher Status with a minimum of 1-year teaching experience
*Excellent organisational skills
*A commitment to child development and learning
*Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*The right to work in the U.K
