Role Overview:
As a Year 4 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in the academic and personal development of our students. You will deliver engaging and challenging lessons, foster positive relationships with students and families, and create a stimulating learning environment that inspires curiosity and promotes independent thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that are aligned with the national curriculum and meet the diverse needs of students in Year 4.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage students in active learning and promote deep understanding of key concepts.
  • Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to students and parents/carers.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued, respected, and empowered to succeed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement cross-curricular projects, enrichment activities, and educational trips that enhance the learning experience.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/carers, providing regular updates on student progress, academic achievement, and areas for development.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events, contributing to the wider school community and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (KS2) settings preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and experience planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with curriculum objectives.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and provide targeted support to meet the individual needs of students, including those with additional learning needs or English as an Additional Language (EAL).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents/carers, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
  • Pay scale M1-M6 depending on experience
