Primary Teacher - Year 4 - North Manchester

Tradewind are currently recruiting an experienced and enthusiastic Primary teacher for a Year 4 role at an excellent school in North Manchester. The role will start in February 2020 and will continue until December 2020. There is a possibility for this Year 4 Teacher position to be extended into the new calendar Year (2021) and there is also a chance of this becoming a permanent role if another role becomes available within school.
As the Year 4 Teacher, you will be working in a 1 form entry Primary School in the North of Manchester. You will be working within a school which has strong value's around developing children and ensuring that every child has full access to outstanding education. The school has excellent transport links to Manchester city centre and other areas of Greater Manchester (especially Oldham) and has a large car park that can be utilised by all members of staff.
As the schools only Year 4 Teacher, you will be taking on this position at a crucial time of the academic year. You will be a strong and confident practitioner who is confident in planning and delivery of the curriculum. The Key Stage 2 team are established, and you will be surrounded by some fantastic practitioners.
Your duties will include:
*Undertaking full class teaching responsibilities for a Year 6 class
*Thoroughly planning lessons for the Year 4 class, making full use of resources that are available to you.
*Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress and attainment of pupils, as well as their personal and social needs.
*Teaching a balanced curriculum and ensuring that each child fulfils his or her potential by providing high levels of teaching standards.

I am constantly impressed with the behaviour of the children and the friendliness of the staff when I visit the school. The head teacher is always very welcoming and it's obvious that she has a passion for leading the school.
As the schools Year 4 Teacher, you will have full access to the schools in house CPD as well as the support of an established senior leadership team.
Essential requirements:
*Fully qualified Teacher Status
*A minimum of 3 Years of teaching experience in the United Kingdom
*Experience in Keys Stage 2 is desired but not essential
*The school have specified that a specialism in a core subject would be beneficial in this role.
*A proven track record with references to support this.
