We are recruiting on behalf of a fantastic, oversubscribed two-form entry school in Salford. The head is looking for a Year 5 teacher with high expectations and values Resilience, Respect and Responsibility. The role is for long term maternity cover starting September until the end of the academic year. This will be paid at competitive rates based on your experience.
This lovely school pride themselves in their friendly child centred atmosphere that allows pupils to feel valued and respected. Each member of staff is dedicated to ensuring children's emotional wellbeing is looked after.

As one of the Year 5 teachers, you will be required to demonstrate a commitment to child emotional wellbeing whilst maintaining a learning environment centred on learning though enjoyment and fun.
Expectations
*Collaboratively, plan and teach a balanced and diverse curriculum
*Assessing, tracking, and reporting on the pupil's personal and academic progress
*Set high expectations for pupil's behaviour and work
*Build a learning environment based on mutual respect
*Establish supportive relationships with parents, carers and other staff
*Extracurricular activities where suitable.

What we are looking for applicants who have:
*Qualified Teacher Status and minimum 1 year of experience
*Excellent behaviour management skills
*A commitment to child development and learning
*Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*The right to work in the U.K
