Are you a dedicated practitioner looking to excel in a KS2 setting? Do you have the skill to bridge gaps in learning and accelerate pupil progress?
Tradewind are currently recruiting on behalf of a two-form entry Primary School in Stockport to start a long-term position commencing after October half term and running until July 2021. The school will consider newly qualified as well as experienced teachers with a competitive salary to match your experience and suitability to the role.
About the role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for a Year 5 class of approximately 25 pupils. This is a high achieving school with a large percentage of pupils working at or above age-related expectations but the ability to differentiate learning and provide targeted interventions will be crucial to the role allowing all students to unlock their potential. The school support a topic-based curriculum providing a fantastic opportunity for creative teaching and learning approaches and support the vision of learning around themes that are both relevant and meaningful.

As the Year 5 Class Teacher, your responsibilities will be but not limited to:
*Undertake full class teaching responsibilities for a Year 5 class
*Teach a balanced curriculum incorporating ICT where relevant to maximise learning opportunities
*Thoroughly plan and deliver engaging lessons alongside the other Year 5 Teacher, making full use of resources and utilising other experienced professionals to enhance individual practice
*Assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of pupils, as well as continually monitor their personal, social and emotional wellbeing
*Be willing to contribute to the extra-curricular program offered by the school and attend wider school events
*Continue the well-established strong relationships with children, staff, parents, governors and the local community.

Essential requirements:
*Fully qualified Teacher Status
*A minimum of 2 Years of teaching experience in the United Kingdom
*Experience in Keys Stage 1 is desired but not essential
*A proven track record of demonstrated success in KS2 with references to support.
