This is full-time class teacher role beginning January 2021 and will run until the end of the academic year with the possibility of this position being extended, depending on your success in the role. As the Year 5 teacher, you will be working in a mixed ability class with an average class size of 30 pupils. You will also benefit from a full-time TA who is highly experienced in this year group.

As the Year 5 teacher, your responsibilities will be but not limited to:
*Undertake full class teaching responsibilities for a year 5 class.
*Thoroughly plan and deliver effective lessons that motivate and challenge learners as well as stimulate curiosity and encourage learning beyond the classroom.
*Utilise innovative approaches that cater for visual, audio and kinaesthetic learning preferences.
*Review, report and reflect on daily practice to inform future planning and improve educational outcomes.
*Demonstrate a secure knowledge and understanding of the Year 5 curriculum and prepare them accordingly for the SATS year ahead.

To be successful in this Year 5 teaching role, you must:
*Hold QTS Certification
*Have a minimum of 2 Years of teaching experience in the United Kingdom
*Have experience teaching in KS2 (Year 5 - highly desirable).
