Tradewind are currently recruiting an outstanding Primary teacher for a Year 6 role at a very popular school in Bury, just south of the town centre. The role will start in January 2021 and you will be required for a minimum of 2 terms. This is to cover a maternity leave so depending on the teachers return, the role could be extended until December 2021. The salary for this role will be competitive and will be based on your experience and suitability for the role.

As the Year 6 Teacher, you will be working in a 1-form, Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' school in a popular suburb of Bury. You will be working within a school which has a strong child centred culture and is very popular within the local area. The school has excellent transport links in and out of bury town centre and other areas of Greater Manchester and has a large car park that can be utilised by all members of staff.

As the Year 6 Teacher, you will be taking on this position at a crucial time of the academic year. This school has consistently strong SATS results and the expectation would be that this is maintained even throughout this academic year, which is like no other. Along with this your other responsibilities will be but will not be limited to:

· Undertake full class teaching responsibilities for a Year 6 class

· Thoroughly planning lessons for the Year 6 class, making full use of resources that are available to you.

· Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress and attainment of pupils, as well as their personal and social needs.

· Teaching a balanced curriculum and ensuring that each child fulfils his or her potential by providing high levels of teaching standards.

After visiting the school, a number of times, I am always very impressed with the behaviour of the children and the friendliness of the staff. The head teacher is always very welcoming and it's obvious that he has a passion for leading the school.

As the schools Year 6 Teacher, you will have full access to the schools in house CPD as well as the support of an established senior leadership team.

Essential requirements:

· Fully qualified Teacher Status

· A minimum of 2 Years of teaching experience in the United Kingdom

· Experience in Keys Stage 2 is essential in this role

· The school have specified that a specialism in a core subject would be beneficial in this role.

· A proven track record with references to support this.
