Calling all Key Stage 2 Teachers! We are looking for an experienced Year 6 Teacher for a fantastic role in the East Manchester area.

On behalf of our partner school, Tradewind are currently looking for a resilient Key Stage 2 Teacher for a Year 6 class teacher position. This is a full-time role which will begin after the Easter break and you will be required for 1 term only. This role comes with a competitive salary which will match your skills and experience.

If successful, you will be working in a fast paced and forward thinking 2 form entry Primary School which was rated good in its most recent Ofsted inspection. This schools sits in an up and coming area of East Manchester and is a stone's throw from the Etihad Stadium. There is a strong community feel and the school are heavily engaged with parents and carers to ensure that their children receive the best education and care. This school benefits from being close to a major Tram stop as well as having a large secure staff car park for all staff.

The Year 6 class you will be responsible for are a mixed ability group of 29 pupils. There will be a full time Teaching Assistant in your class as well as full use of state-of-the-Art IT equipment.

Your main responsibilities will include.

• Undertake full class teaching responsibilities for a Year 6 class
• Thoroughly planning lessons for the Year 6 class, making full use of resources that are available to you.
• Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress and attainment of pupils, as well as their personal and social needs.
• Teaching a balanced curriculum and ensuring that each child fulfils his or her potential by providing high levels of teaching standards.
• Contribution to the successful transition of your pupils as they enter into secondary school in September.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher looking for a terms work in a supportive school.

Essential requirements:

• Fully qualified Teacher Status
• A minimum of 2 Years of teaching experience in the United Kingdom
• Experience in Keys Stage 2 is essential in this role
• The school have specified that a specialism in a core subject would be beneficial in this role.
• A proven track record with references to support this.
