Tradewind are recruiting on behalf of a two-form, Salford school who are looking for a hardworking, resilient Year 6 teacher to work with a class with complex needs including behavioural. This Long-term role commences in September and runs until the end of the academic year. You will benefit from a supportive team and competitive pay based on your experience.
The dedicated team at this school have the joint goal to raise their pupil attainment and pupil self-esteem. In order to achieve this, the school have recently invested in new teaching resources and improvements to facilities. The head is looking for a teacher who will quickly assimilate with the team and use the resources effectively.

As the year 6 teacher, you will be preparing the children for their Year 6 SATS and supporting their preparation for secondary transition. You will also be expected to:
*Collaboratively, plan and teach a balanced and diverse curriculum
*Assessing, tracking, and reporting on the pupil's personal and academic progress
*Set high expectations for behaviour and pupil work
*Build a learning environment based on mutual respect
*Extracurricular activities where suitable.

What we are looking for applicants who have:
*Qualified Teacher Status and minimum 3 years of experience
*Excellent behaviour management skills
*Experience of year 6 SATS (Preferable)
*A commitment to child development and learning
*Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*The right to work in the U.K
