Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a dynamic Key Stage 2 Teacher in the Stockport area?
Tradewind are currently recruiting an experienced and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher for a Year 6 role at an excellent school in a rural area of Stockport. The role will begin after May half term and will continue until Christmas 2020. This role is available due to a planned operation and as there will be a longer than normal recovery time, will not be returning until January. This role is full time and comes with a competitive salary which will match your skills and experience.
As the Year 6 Teacher, you will be working in a 2-form entry Primary School in Stockport. You will be working within a school which has a fantastic reputation in the local area. This school has strong values around hard work and ensuring that every child reaches their full potential. Every member of staff at this school is fully committed and is prepared to work hard to ensure the children in their care receive the best possible education.
As one of the schools two Year 6 Teachers, you will be taking on this position at a crucial time of the academic year, the children in your class will have just completed SATS and you will play a key part in ensuring that the class have a smooth end to the year and transition onto secondary school. The Key Stage 2 team are a relatively new team so at times you will be a pillar of experience within the team. Along with this your other responsibilities will be but will not be limited to:
*Undertake full class teaching responsibilities for a Year 6 class
*Thoroughly planning lessons for the Year 6 class, making full use of resources that are available to you.
*Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress and attainment of pupils, as well as their personal and social needs.
*Teaching a balanced curriculum and ensuring that each child fulfils his or her potential by providing high levels of teaching standards.

As the schools Year 6 Teacher, you will have full access to the schools in house CPD as well as the support of an established senior leadership team.
Essential requirements:
*Fully qualified Teacher Status
*A minimum of 3 Years of teaching experience in the United Kingdom
*Experience in Key Stage 2 is essential in this role
*The school have specified that a specialism in a core subject would be beneficial in this role.
*A proven track record with references to support this.
