Tradewind is currently looking for an experienced Year 6 teacher to join a highly reputable school in a small suburb of Stockport. This is a full-time long-term post commencing September 2020 and will run for a full academic year with the potential to secure a permanent position at the school.
As the Year 6 teacher, you will be responsible for a mixed-ability class of approximately 30 pupils and will be joined by a full-time SNA. You will be expected to cover all subjects in line with the curriculum and attain the highest standards of teaching and learning throughout your role.
We are looking for:
- This OFSTED Outstanding school are seeking to appoint a teacher with SATS experience who has a proven success in raising attainment levels.
- A highly competent practitioner who has a secure knowledge and understanding of the Y6 curriculum and can utilise other professionals on the team to ensure best practices.
- A reflective individual who will assess ways in which to deliver engaging content making lessons both relevant and meaningful to the children.
- A confident approach in assessing the needs of learners as individuals and an ability to differentiate learning effectively allowing all pupils to fulfil their potential.
