Tradewind are looking for a Year 6 teacher who takes a creative cross-curricular approach to bring learning alive for a fantastic, resourceful Year 6 class. This Long-term role commences at the start of October and runs until the end of Term 2 in April. You will benefit from a supportive team and competitive pay based on your experience.

Children at this school are actively encouraged to partake in enquiry-based learning, using the excellent resources around them to further their knowledge and inquisitive nature.

As the year 6 teacher, you will be preparing the children for their Year 6 SATS and supporting their preparation for secondary transition. You will also be expected to:
*Plan and teach a balanced and diverse curriculum
*Assessing, tracking, and reporting on the pupil's personal and academic progress
*Set high expectations for behaviour and pupil work
*Build a learning environment based on mutual respect
*Ensure pupils are well prepared for their SATS examinations.
*Extracurricular activities where suitable.

What we are looking for applicants who have:
*Qualified Teacher Status and minimum 2 years of experience
*Excellent behaviour management skills
*Experience of year 6 SATS (Preferable)
*A commitment to child development and learning
*Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*The right to work in the U.K
