SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant - KS1

Location: Lambeth

Salary: £80 - £85 per day

Job type: Long-term, full time

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm

Start date: January 2024

End date: Ongoing

Tradewind are seeking a strong SEN KS1 Teaching Assistant who is eager to support a child with mixed learning abilities and additional needs.

About the role:

• This would be a 1:1 TA position supporting a student with additional needs
• The role will include being a support to the student, providing guidance and support to the class teacher.
• Experience dealing with a range of special educational needs is essential.
• Experience within KS1 is preferred.
• Create stimulating learning resources to encourage academic progress.
• Help to set up and tidy up at the start and end of lessons.

Requirements:

• Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant is preferred.
• Must have lots of initiative and a pro-active approach and be very confident with maths and English.
• Bachelor's degree is ideal but not essential.
• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
• Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
• You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
