Would you want the opportunity to work under the guidance of an inspirational SENCO, helping to support and guide you through your primary school teaching journey?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Graduate/Teaching Assistant, to join a smaller than average Primary school, to start in March. This is a full time, long term role, covering at least two full terms of maternity leave, paying up to £70 a day.

The candidate:
To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:

*Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
*Have a CV with 10 years employment history included and any employment breaks must be explained
*Have the legal right to work in the UK

The role:
The role itself will involve supporting students in KS2, in the classroom, and in small groups or 1 to 1. The ideal candidate will have prior experience of working with children with SEN and will ensure that the support they provide is tailored to pupils' needs. You will work with a range of students and subject areas, as well as the SENCO and classroom teachers, so you must be able to take initiative as well as follow direction.

The school:
We are recruiting on behalf of a small and well-established primary school that has recently partnered with a second school in the area, after being graded 'Good' with 'Outstanding' leadership; this was achieved through the SLT being extremely supportive of all staff members. They pride themselves on an induction programme leading to excellent professional development opportunities and are fully committed to the progress of their staff, as well as their students.

This inclusive primary school is looking for a Graduate/Teaching Assistant that can deliver support students across all Key Stages and has knowledge of assisting students with a range of SEN, as well as a great personality for building rapport with staff and students alike. You must be a committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role. You will need to be a collaborative and driven individual who will support and assist on the delivery of the subjects.

The school is based in rural Tameside, with excellent public transport links and ample parking available.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the support of a cohesive and committed team of teachers who work collaboratively to maintain high standards and expectations, plus:
· a well-equipped school with interactive white boards
