About the School - Key Stage 2 Teacher & Year Group Leader - Barking, East London
From September this lovely, large 4 form entry Primary with exceptional behaviour throughout all the key stages is looking to appoint an experienced teacher who can lead a year group. This role is open to experienced teachers who are either in a similar post or those who can step up into the role. The school is in an affluent part of Barking and the students come mainly from professional families. A huge mix culturally, the students all join the school with far higher than expected ability levels and this stays with them throughout their journey at the school. Behaviour is exceptional throughout which allows the school to be creative with lessons, safe in the knowledge that the students will be committed to learning. Even though results are high at the school, its Ofsted rated as a 'requires improvement' school. This is due to the school previously not helping the students progress as far as they should and a too high percentage of teaching at the school being below good. The school has worked hard to address this forming a partnership with a local outstanding school and restructuring throughout.

About the Role - Key Stage 2 Teacher & Year Group Leader - Barking, East London
*This school is looking to appoint a strong teacher who can lead two years (either 3 & 4 or 5 & 6). The school are looking for teachers that lead by example, so the successful candidate will teach at a good or better level on a consistent basis.
*This school offers excellent CPD and career progression. The post holder will get an extra half day out of class for performance of duties.
*This post also attracts a TLR 2b.
