PSHE Tutor Required in Wakefield

Tradewind Recruitment are supporting a Wakefield School to recruit an PSHE Tutor. This full time role is available immediately and following an initial period working on a temporary basis, will become permanent.

The school would like to recruit an PSHE Tutor, experienced in, or comfortable working with secondary aged students with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Heath) needs. These conditions can lead students to present challenging behaviour at times.

This 'Good' graded special needs provision, which caters for 40 students, is set within a pleasant, rural location. Class sizes are small and are structured to facilitate the implementation of students Individual Education Plans.

This could be your ideal next role if you are;

-A qualified Tutor, comfortable teaching ASDAN and Life Skills
-Experienced in, or comfortable working in an environment with students aged 11-18 years, with SEMH Needs.
-You are confident in working in an education environment in which behaviour can be challenging
-You are available full time for a permanent role
-You are an effective team player

This role will include;

-Teaching PSHE including ASDAN and Life Skills
-Preparing resources where required, although many resources are already in place across this school network.

-Full time 08:30 -16:00
