Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a SEND School in Liverpool who are looking for people with a background in Psychology to best support their students who have additional needs. The school are seeking a Psychology graduate to support children with a range of needs, including but not limited to:
- Dyslexia
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- ADHD
- SEMH
- Global Delay
- Moderate Learning Difficulties
- Visual Impairments
- Medical Needs
The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to use their expertise to support children aged 3-19 years old, whilst gaining experience to use to further their career. The role will begin as soon as possible and will continue for the remainder of the academic year.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with a range of additional needs.
- Monitor and track student progress.
- Provide a supportive environment to help children develop socially and academically.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide effective support.
