We are looking to recruit psychology students or graduates to join our Team of Supply Teaching Assistants in Bath. We are working closely with schools in Bath who are seeking psychology graduates/students to work as teaching assistants in their schools.
This type of work will be a great opportunity for psychology graduates to use their academic knowledge in a practical way in an Education setting and earn additional income while or after their studies. You will have the opportunity to work on a 1:1 or group setting with young people with Special Educational needs and support their learning and emotional well-being in schools.

The work is rewarding and training will be given to you by Tradewind as CPDs to support you in your work as a teaching assistant. We welcome applicants from students and graduates. We will need minimum 1 day a week availability.
Must have:
Degree or training in psychology, mental health or sport science subjects (Currently studying students are welcome to apply and join us)
Highly Desirable:
Special Educational Needs Experience in a care or school setting
Understanding and experience of supporting/teaching young people with Mental Health issues.
Placements in schools vary from daily supply, short and long-term cover and permanent positions according to your requirements and availability. Pay will depend on experience and the responsibilities of the role and is never less than £65 per day. You will be able to pause working with us during busy exam and assignment periods.

** Have experience of working with children in any capacity
*Will have confidence to manage behaviour and support the young people in their lessons and emotional development

*Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
*Have a CV covering at least 10 years employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
*Have the legal right to work in the UK
