Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a RE Teacher for a leading mixed comprehensive secondary school in Barking and Dagenham, to start in September 2019.

This school was rated Good in their last Ofsted inspection maintaining a high level of teaching and learning within the school, becoming one of the best schools in the borough.
This school is based in a lovely part of Barking and Dagenham, East London and is easiest accessible by care. The school also has a large car park that has capacity to fit all staff.

This is a very multi-cultural school and students make outstanding progress, school achievement is improving quickly and securely. Leaders make frequently checks on the quality of teaching, which allows them to identify where teaching needs improvement and offer training and coaching that secures swift improvement. The RE department prides itself on teamwork and achievement.

Relationships between staff and students are positive and respectful, which aids to the achievement within the school.

Responsibilities for this RE Teacher role would include;
*Teaching KS3 and KS4 classes within the RE department
*Possibly Philosophy and Ethics at KS5
*Committed to deliver high quality teaching and learning, whilst promoting outstanding progress and attainment for all
*Having good subject and curriculum knowledge
*Genuinely caring about the education of your students, going above and beyond to see them succeed and achieve
*Setting clear expectations and follow up issues firmly and fairly, this will gain the respect of the students and aid you when teaching the classes
*Being an exceptional teacher who can add great value within the department and school
Requirements for you as a RE Teacher include;
*Being a QTS/QTS holder (or equivalent teaching qualification)
*Having an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance and previous professional references that are at an average of Good or above
*Having a legal right to work in the UK
