About the Role:

As a Reception Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to children in their first year of primary school. Your role will involve creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment where each child feels valued and supported. You will work closely with a supportive team of staff to plan and implement a curriculum that promotes the intellectual, social, and emotional development of all pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality, creative lessons that inspire a love of learning.
  • Foster a positive classroom atmosphere where all children feel safe, happy, and motivated.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support each child's educational journey.
  • Maintain a well-organised and resource-rich classroom environment.
  • Ensure the well-being and safeguarding of all pupils.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent early years qualification.
  • Experience teaching in a Reception or early years setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A creative and adaptable approach to teaching.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and helping them reach their full potential.
