Reception Teacher (EYFS) -- East Manchester

On behalf of our client school, Tradewind is seeking a full time Reception class teacher to start in April 2020. This is a maternity cover role which will last for one whole calendar year. The salary for this role will be competitive and will be based on your level of experience and suitability to the role.

As the Reception Teacher, you will be working in an Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' school in the East Manchester area and you will be responsible for a Reception class of 30 children. This school is a 2-form entry school and you will have the opportunity of working alongside another outstanding early year's practitioner. This school has a fantastic reputation in the local area and due to its location, this school can be reachable by car or public transport.

Due to the experience within the early years department you will receive full support in this role. However, you will be expected to hit the ground running as this you will be commencing this role at a very important time of the academic year. Your main responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

*Planning and preparation of the full Early Years curriculum.
*Recording and reporting on the development of the children in your class
*Ensuring the children in your class begin a smooth transition into Year 1
*Teaching a balanced curriculum to ensure every child fulfils their full potential
*Encourage learning and development stories, drawing and play
*Assist in children's personal, social and emotional development.
*Collaboration with the other Reception Teacher to ensure the flow of the curriculum and lessons across the schools 2 reception classes

Essential requirements:

*Qualified Teacher Status
*Experience or a relevant Early Years qualification
*References that support your successful teacher training
*The right to work in the U.K
*Availability from February and the commitment for the rest of the academic year.
