Are you an experienced Early Years Teacher looking for your next part time role in East Manchester? Tradewind would like to speak to you today!

We are seeking a part-time Reception class teacher to start in April 2021. This is a long-term role, which will last for one term until the end of the academic year. The school will be looking to make a permanent appointment for this role in the new academic year. You will be welcome to apply for the permanent position but will have to be part of the formal recruitment process. This role comes with a competitive salary, which will match your experience and suitability to the role.

In this Reception Teacher job share post, you will be required to teach a Reception class of 30 children for 2 days per week (Monday and Tuesday). Your partner Teacher is an experienced Early Years Specialist Teacher with over 7 years of experience and has worked at the school for nearly 5 Years. This 1-form entry school is conveniently located and is within walking distance of a number of public transport routes. There is also a large staff car park on site.

This is a job share; therefore, you will have excellent communication schools as you will have to ensure that there is a smooth transition throughout the week. Your main responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  • Planning and preparation of the full Early Years curriculum.
  • Recording and reporting on the development of the children in your class
  • Teaching a balanced curriculum to ensure every child fulfils their full potential
  • Encourage learning and development stories, drawing and play
  • Assist in children's personal, social and emotional development.
  • Collaboration with your partner Reception Teacher to ensure the flow of the curriculum and lesson

Essential requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience or a relevant Early Years qualification
  • A proven track record with supporting references
  • The right to work in the U.K
  • Availability from April and the commitment for the rest of the academic year.
