Are you an experienced Reception Teacher looking for a new teaching role after the February half term?

This long-term Reception teaching role, has potential to go permanent in September 2019. Current pay rates are from £150 -£180 depending on experience.

This three-form entry school is part of a successful "Arts" academy, who value the creative as much as the academic in the lives of the children. An arts festival was established in 2014 across the trust which incorporates an annual arts competition with winners participating in "The London experience" - visiting landmarks like the Globe Theatre; Tate Modern and Royal Opera House. The children also take part in film making and go to the theatre.
A week of art activities with normal timetable suspended and an innovative and exciting programme planned and delivered for every child.

The school has specialist teachers for Art; Music and PE.

Whilst there is a great emphasis on high academic standards at the school, it is important that the staff and children are happy; feel supported and are provided with the best possible education!

The school are looking for:
- An experienced Reception teacher who will help children to achieve their early learning goals
- A teacher who can motivate and stimulate a child's learning abilities - encouraging learning through experience
- A team player who is able to work alongside and in conjunction with other experienced Early Years' teachers
- Someone who is passionate about Early Years Education
- A teacher who wants to commit to working in a dynamic; creative and stimulating environment

To join us and be successful in securing this Reception teaching position at this Waltham Forest school, you will need to:
-Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
-Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
-This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
-Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
-You must have the legal right to work in the UK
