Job Description:
Tradewind are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join a dynamic team at one of our partner schools. The successful candidate will be passionate about inspiring students to explore and understand the diverse world of religious beliefs and practices. This position is open for an immediate start, and there is potential for a permanent role within the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging RE lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel motivated and encouraged to participate.
- Foster critical thinking and respectful discussion around religious and ethical issues.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the RE curriculum.
- Monitor and report on student progress, providing timely feedback to both students and parents.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge in Religious Education.
- Ability to teach RE up to GCSE level (A-level teaching is a plus).
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
