Tradewind are acting on behalf of a secondary school based in South Liverpool who are looking for a Teacher of Religious Education to start after October half term 2020 to teach across key stage 3 and key stage 4. The role is likely to continue until the end of the academic year. The rate of pay would be discussed depending on experience and will be paid weekly.

The school has a very supportive leadership team and strong department who are committed to ensuring a positive working environment and the school has ample onsite parking.

As a Teacher of Religious Education, you will have access to a supportive and committed team of teachers who work collaboratively to maintain high standards and expectations.

For this position, you will be responsible for:

* Undertaking full class teaching responsibility for Religious Education from Year 7 through to Year 11.
* Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress and attainment of pupils, as well as on their personal and social needs
* Marking work, giving appropriate feedback and preparing students for exams in line with GCSE requirements

To be considered for this position you will:

* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Be an outstanding teacher with excellent recent curriculum subject knowledge
* Be a committed professional with a determination to make a difference
* Have the legal right to work in the UK and be able to provide proof
* Hold an enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
