Religious Studies Teacher - Chelmsford - January 2024 Until July 2024

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking for a Religious Studies teacher. We require an Religious Studies Teacher from January 2024. We are seeking a creative and inspirational Religious Studies teacher to undertake the responsibility of Religious Studies Teacher and Personal Development Programme Coordinator. This would be an excellent opportunity for somebody looking to further develop their leadership potential within a strong and supportive humanities team.

This school is an 11-18 mixed comprehensive of 1200 students with an excellent reputation in the local area. They have superb facilities and view themselves as an innovative teaching and learning community. The school is situated close to the A12 on the east side of Chelmsford within easy reach of Chelmsford, Colchester, Southend and Brentwood and has good public transport links.

The successful applicant is expected to:

  • Qualified teacher status or evidence of successful completion of PGCE or alternative training qualification
  • Assess and mark pupils work, monitoring progression levels.
  • Deliver fun and engaging lessons that also challenge and develop learning.
  • Communicate effectively with pupils, parents, and other staff members.
  • Be committed to the schools' objectives and teach in line with their ethos.
