Religious Studies Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Religious Studies Teacher to join this Client, a well-regarded secondary school in Islington, starting in September 2024. This Client boasts a supportive environment where both staff and students thrive, as reflected in their recent Ofsted report.

Job Role Requirements:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring Religious Studies lessons to Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 students.
  • Plan and prepare effective schemes of work and lesson plans.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and enrichment programs.

Qualifications and Person Specification:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge with the ability to teach Religious Studies up to A-level.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to the success of every student.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
