Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a residential care worker to work within one of our residential schools.
Salary: Up to £21,000.
Hours: 42.5 per week on a shift basis.

This is a perfect opportunity for a residential care worker to join a residential school with a holistic and integrated approach.

The school is nestled within stunning Leicestershire countryside caters for pupils aged 8 - 18 years with SEMH.

The role will be temporary to permanent for the right candidate.
The successful applicant will require a full driving licence and be able to drive school vehicles.

Essential Criteria
* The ability to motivate and inspire pupils with SEMH
* The ability to work with young people in groups
* Ability to ensure staff adhere to high standards
* To work on own initiative and unsupervised
* Demonstrate own skills and abilities in providing out of school activities for young people
* Knowledge of the needs of young people
* Knowledge of good quality residential care, children's rights and safeguarding children.
* Hold NVQ Level 3 or higher

To join us and be successful in the Learning Support Assistant role you will need:
*To have psychology degree or equivalent qualifications.
*Experience working with children or young adults.
*This position you will need an enhanced DBS disclosure, Over Seas Police Clearance (if applicable) and profession reference checks - At least 2!
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be noted.
*You must have legal right to work in the UK.
