Full time Roma Slovak speaking Teaching Assistant

Tradewind are looking to recruit and experienced Roma Slovak speaking Teaching Assistant who is experienced at supporting behaviour and working with children with little or no English.
The role is full time to start as soon as possible at a school in Sheffield. You will be working along side a boy in KS2 newly arrived to the UK with little English.
The school is well equipped to accommodate children with little or no English and those with additional learning difficulties. The Senior Leadership team are supportive and management is strong, the curriculum is geared towards learners individual needs and this is at the heart of the school ethos.
Prior experience in a similar role working one to one would be required as would an ability to communicate with members of the Roma community.
A Team Teach qualification or equivalent would also be beneficial in this role although not essential.
As the position is to start as soon as possible an existing enhanced DBS on the up date service would also be a huge benefit, although if you do not have one in place we can support you with the application.

Pay £65.00 - £80.00 per day dependant on experience

To join us and be successful in this EAL Teaching Assistant role you will need to:
Have had experience in a previous similar role.
Speak fluent Roma Slovak.
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks.
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history, where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
