Are you a highly organised and efficient individual with a passion for education? Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dynamic School Administrator to join a friendly primary school in Barnsley. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of the school and support the educational journey of their students.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administration: Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including maintaining student records, managing correspondence, and providing general office support.

  2. Student Support: Assist in the enrolment and registration process, coordinate student activities, and provide support to students and parents as needed.

  3. Communication: Serve as a point of contact for parents, staff, and external stakeholders. Facilitate effective communication within the school community.

  4. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to student attendance, grades, and other pertinent information. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

  5. Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of school events, meetings, and functions.

  6. Financial Administration: Support financial processes, including invoicing, budget tracking, and handling financial transactions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in a school administrative role is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant administrative tools.
  • SIMS experience desirable.
  • Parent Pay experience preferred.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Familiarity with school policies and procedures is an advantage.
