Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dynamic and proactive individual to join the administrative team at a well-regarded SEND secondary school in Preston. This is a temporary-to-permanent position, starting ASAP, offering the opportunity to become a valued, permanent member of the school's support staff.

The school caters to pupils aged 11-19 years and has been rated 'Good' by OFSTED, highlighting its commitment to providing high-quality education and support to students with special educational needs and disabilities. The role offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from £11.89 to £13.56 per hour, reflecting the responsibilities and expertise required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilise your administrative expertise to efficiently manage the day-to-day operations of a busy school office.
• Proficiently navigate school systems, including SIMS, and demonstrate competence in financial processes.
• Utilise Microsoft packages and TEAMS for effective communication and collaboration.
• Handle various administrative tasks with precision, ensuring the smooth running of the school office.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience in school administration is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using SIMS, Finance systems, Microsoft packages, and TEAMS.
• A strong willingness to learn and adapt to the unique challenges of a Special Educational Needs setting.
• A proactive "can-do" attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
