Part time Caretaker

Tradewind are working with a primary school who require an experienced caretaker or buildings manager to begin a long term position from September 2020.

You will be working at a moderately sized primary school in the Chesterfield area and will be responsible for opening the building in the morning and securing the building in the evening. As such you will work split shifts, 6am to 10am and then 3pm to 6pm, with some flexibility around these times. The role is 3 days a week and a total of 24 hours a week.

You will be responsible for all aspects of building and grounds maintenance as well as ensuring that the building meets all regulations, including Fire safety. Experience of Legionella testing and writing risk assessments for school settings would be beneficial as will practical skills such as basic joinery.

You will required to work alongside other maintenance staff as well as manage a small team of cleaners and you will report directly to the school Business manager.

Pay £80 - £95 per day dependant on experience

Have experience in a similar caretaking or Building maintenance role.
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks.
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history, where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
