Our Client a large Secondary Academy located in the borough of Westminster are in need of a School Caretaker for an immediate start.
Interested applicants should have at least 1 years' experience, who can work on their own initiative, who is reliable, adaptable, hardworking, proactive with a good attitude.

This position is a temporary full time position on an long term basis.

You will be responsible for the maintenance of the school grounds and building, minor maintenance repairs such as, Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, Painting/Glazing, Cleaning and Health and Safety.

The hours of work 37 hour per week (hours range from 7.00am - 7.00pm (shift work)
Weekend cover will also be required

Duties will include but limited to:
*To be responsible for the routine opening and closing of the Academy buildings and grounds together with other additional weekend use as directed (with agreed overtime payments).
*To contribute to security procedures and surveillance, being on call via walkie-talkie to support staff at all times during shift.
*To carry out agreed security procedures and other necessary duties relating to CCTV and the security alarm system.
*Carry out repair work, where such work is agreed as being within own capabilities and with due regard to health and safety regulations.
*Take out of use classroom and site equipment known to be faulty and report the need for repair.
*Accept delivery of stores, materials and other goods and convey to appropriate storage or learning areas.
