Job Description:
Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced School Caretaker / Facilities Manager for a secondary school site located on the outskirts of North East Lincolnshire. This is an immediate start assignment, offering a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a background in school facilities management.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilities Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school premises, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Caretaking Duties: Undertake general caretaking tasks, including maintenance, repairs, and minor installations as required.
Security: Implement and maintain security procedures, ensuring the safety and security of the school site.
Health and Safety: Enforce health and safety regulations, conducting regular checks and inspections to maintain compliance.
Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with school staff and external contractors, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
Requirements:
Essential Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within a school environment is essential.
DBS Check: A valid DBS on the update service is required for this role.
Availability: Immediate availability to start work and commit to the assignment until March 2024.
