Tradewind are currently working with a Sefton secondary school who are looking to recruit a temporary, full-time caretaker. The position is to start as soon as possible and will continue on an ongoing basis.

The hours will be from 8.30 - 4pm, Monday - Friday and you, as the caretaker, will be responsible for supporting the current caretaking staff. You wont be required to ope the school but you will be a key holder. You will be supporting the cleaners in their duties and completing general maintenance around the school and grounds as required.

What you'll need to succeed as caretaker:-

Prior school and key holding and caretaker experience is essential. You will be reliable and punctual as the responsibility for opening the school on time will rest with you. You will be comfortable taking on general maintenance throughout the day. You will also be responsible for meeting deliveries and signing for goods on arrival at the school site, then the distribution. We are offering a competitive rate of pay from £10 - £12 per hour for this role.

Appointment to this caretaker post is dependent on completing an enhanced DBS check. In return you will get to work in a supportive environment with a strong friendly team around you.
