Are you a skilled School Counsellor looking for an exciting new opportunity in a highly-regarded school in Lambeth? Look no further than our educational agency!

We are proud to be working with an Ofsted rated Good school in Lambeth that is seeking a talented School Counsellor to join their team. This will be a full-time role, 5 days per week.

As a School Counsellor at this highly-regarded school, you will play a vital role in helping students navigate a variety of challenges and achieve their academic and personal goals. Your responsibilities will include conducting one-on-one counselling sessions with students, providing guidance and advice to parents and teachers, and developing and implementing strategies to help students manage stress and anxiety.

You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a compassionate and empathetic approach to working with students. Additionally, you should be able to work collaboratively with other members of the school community.

The successful candidate must be a qualified School Counsellor, with relevant qualifications and experience in providing counselling and support to students. You should have a recognized qualification in counselling, such as a Diploma or Certificate in Counselling, and be registered with a relevant professional body, such as BACP or UKCP.

In addition, you should have experience working with young people, preferably in a school setting. You should have a good understanding of the issues and challenges that young people face, as well as the ability to provide appropriate support and guidance.
