School HR Administrator required

Tradewind Recruitment are working on behalf of a mixed secondary school in South Liverpool who require an experienced HR Administrator. The school is a high achieving faith school with a strong senior leadership team and is a very popular choice for students not just in the community but across Liverpool. The post is to commence after the October half term break and will be a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate. The selected candidate will be required to work full school hours Monday to Friday.

The role:
The role of HR Administrator is wide and varied but mainly to provide a comprehensive administrative support for the full employee recruitment and retention process contributing to the effective and efficient running of the HR department. To do this successfully the job holder must ensure that they remain up to date with regulatory requirements and best practice within the HR profession and within areas of delegated responsibility.

Recruitment and selection process
Employment matters
Supporting SLT
Records and data
General office duties
Administrative duties

The candidate will hold:
A good standard of education
An appropriate qualification for example HR or Business/General Administration
Admin experience, ideally from a similar HR role
Experience working with SIMS/HR databases, creating reports
Accurate and efficient IT skills in Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with a calm, confident and professional and personable manner
Strong organisation skills and ability to manage a varying workload
Attention to detail in all work undertaken
Respectful to confidentiality
