I am working with an Ofsted-rated 'Good' secondary school in the London borough of Sutton.
The school in question are looking to appoint a Cover Assistant to aid the Cover Manager in the mornings with in bound and out bound calls. This would include managing sickness calls (staff and students), external agency calls as well as parents and student queries. The school are wanting to appoint someone who is able to be organised with a calm demeanour who has previous experience of shift software (especially with the stresses of morning sicknesses and cover!). The successful candidate should be computer literate with the preference of also having Arbor or SIMS experience but this is not a requirement.
The position will initially be a 6 month temporary position to cover an absence but this could potentially be extended or even be taken on a permanent basis.
The position is from 7am - 11am, Monday to Friday and commences from the 27th September 2023.
