Tradewind Recruitment is working with a beautiful, supportive school in Camden who are seeking a School Nurse to join their team from August 2020. This is a full time position (40 hours per week, term time only) that will be offered on a long term basis, running until the end of the academic year initially, with a view of becoming a permanent role.
As a School Nurse, you will:
· Be providing a high standard of medical and pastoral care to pupils on a daily basis within the NMC guidelines
· Have either school nursing experience or experience working with children or adolescents within a medical setting
· Have the capability and medical experience to work autonomously, without additional medical support on site
· Be a kind and conscientious individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Understanding of French would be advantageous but not essential
This role will see you providing medical care on a day to day basis as well as coordinating and overseeing health visits and consultations for the pupils, including in-school vaccinations.
Centrally located and serviced by the London Underground, National Rail Services and local buses, this School is easily accessible from all areas of North and Central London.
