Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a school receptionist with admin experience to work for a secondary school in south Birmingham. This secondary school receptionist role a is full-time maternity cover, starting from January 2021 for a minimum of two terms.

This is a well-established, successful and very friendly secondary school. Hours required to work are 8am-4pm term time only. Excellent public transport links are available for anyone living near the Harborne, Selly Oak, Quinton, Bournville, Weoley Castle or Bartley Green area. Parking is also available on the school site if required.

The role will involve working in the front school office and you would be responsible for meeting and greeting all visitors and parents/carers to the school. You will be dealing with phone enquiries, in person queries, and written correspondence. You will be required to do a wide range of tasks to fit in with the needs of the school providing general support. Prior school receptionist experience is essential for this role along with a sound working knowledge of the school SIMS system. The hourly rate available for this role is £10-12 per hour dependant on prior experience.

Essential requirements:
Front of house school reception experience, answering phones, meet and greet in person, SIMS experience, school admin experience, excellent communication skills with friendly and confident manor.
