Following the government announcement in June 2020 of schools receiving an additional £1 billion of funding for catch up programmes Tradewind Recruitment are anticipating a high demand for Science intervention Teachers from our Warrington secondary schools on a long-term basis for September 2020.

The Role
As a Science Intervention Teacher, you will be supporting children across Key Stage 3 and 4 with tailored intervention programmes. You will communicate with the regular subject teacher and Head of Department identifying students who will benefit from the additional support. You will devise and deliver intervention programmes in line with the Science curriculum and will also be responsible for assessment. You could be teaching on a 1:1 basis however it is anticipated that you will work with small groups of children.

To join us and be considered for this Science Intervention teacher vacancy you must:
* Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification;
* Have experience teaching Science across Key Stage 3 and 4;
* Previous experience as an Intervention Teacher would be preferred however not essential;
* This position is subject to Enhanced DBS, Overseas police check (if applicable) and satisfactory references;
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
* Have the legal right to work in the UK.
