About the School - Science Newly Qualified Teacher - Luton, Bedfordshire

Located in Luton with accessible transport links, this 'Good Ofsted School is looking to add a Science Teacher to its ranks from September and due to the level of experience in the department, they have decided that this would most suit an NQT. The school are willing to consider Biology, Chemistry or Physics specialisms. The school is in a lower socioeconomic part of the borough where EAL, SEN and free school meal pupils are vastly higher than the national averages. This does not stop the school from producing excellent outcomes through the hard work that the teachers and leaders put into every day in this exciting setting. The children at the school have exceptional behaviour and work incredibly hard. The school is looking for a Science NQT who they can support and develop to make a real difference to everyone of their students' lives.

Role requirements - Science Newly Qualified Teacher - Luton, Bedfordshire

• Must expect to gain QTS by September (or later depending on DFE advice around finishing training) in Secondary Science.
• Must be a passionate teacher who has strong subject knowledge in their specialism as well as the ability to teach general science.
• Should be willing to work hard on developing teaching practice with the support of an outstanding mentor. The ability to take direction is essential.
• Ideally an ambitious new teacher who is keen to utilise the main opportunities the school will make available.
