About the School - Science Teacher & Curriculum Leader - Haringey, North London
Located in the vibrant inner London borough of Haringey lies this well-run Academy School that over the past 5 years has been going from strength to strength. The school has seen a consistent rise in attainment levels at all key stages bat particularly at GCSE where last year the school achieved 59% of all pupils obtaining at least 5 A* to C grades which included Maths, English and Science. Behaviour at this school is good and students have a high level of respect for teaching staff making this a great place to teach. The school has a popular science department with many students electing to study the subject at A-level. Currently the school has a strong science department with 8 full-time teachers, 3 technicians and a dedicated head of department. This role will be in addition and will report directly to the HOD with a view of supporting curriculum development within the subject.
