Tradewind are currently looking for an enthusiastic teacher of Science to join a mainstream mixed secondary school near the Handsworth area in Birmingham ASAP.

The role is full time until the end of this summer term. You will be responsible to teach lessons across KS3 and KS4 in all sciences. During unique times for school's, you will be required to teach remotely, therefore requiring good facilities from home to enable ample internet access is a must. Teaching in school will happen once per week or two for all staff including any long-term supply teachers on a rota. You will also need to have a basic knowledge of Teams and working from home platforms. You will

If you happen to have experience teaching Chemistry to KS5 level this is desirable, but not essential. Candidates will have strong curriculum knowledge and will ensure that the lessons they deliver are of excellent quality using innovative and engaging approaches, ensuring that the students are having fun whilst making progress.

This Birmingham secondary school has excellent public transport links and ample parking available. If you live around the Handsworth, Bournville, Kings Heath, Kings Norton, Smethwick, Selly Oak, Harborne, Bartley Green areas this school is on the right side of south Birmingham for you.

* Hold QTS Status or QTLS, or you will be an experience Instructor of KS3 & KS4 Science

* You must have the legal right to work in the UK
